This course is private. They accept Visa, MC and Amex. Proper attire required. They have a bar and restaurant. The clubhouse also includes a meeting and banquet facility. They have a large driving range and practice facility where the U of L teams practice. Walking is allowed.Cardinal Club has bent grass tees and expansive, rolling bent grass fairways leading to large bent greens. Some very large greens with moderate to severe undulation. Fairway and greenside bunkers are abundant. Mature trees on a few holes. Water is in play on five holes.Designed by Spencer Holt. ON COURSE COMMENTS 4-06Very nice design kept in nice shape. All the amentities that you would expect from a nice country club. Numerous elements of a links style course. Wind is likely to be present. Greens were punched recently and based on previous experience will probably recieve "Excellent" marks by our next visit.Some monsterous greens...choose clubs wisely on approach. Numerous fall away areas on greens add to difficulty. Collection areas and false fronts are also featured around greens. I think they like the rough long and brutal.We like it! We look forward to playing Cardinal Club again. When things green up a bit, I'll get some pictures. Nice place! |
