This is a resort course with an open guest policy. On property accommodations are available. They take MC & Visa. Proper golf attire is required at all times. They have a nice driving range and a large putting green. They have beer in "Ye Olde Pub. You may walk. No homes on the course.Links style course with spacious bent grass fairways lead to various sized bent grass greens with moderate undulation. Rolling terrain with numerous blind shots. Sand bunkers and water are occasionally in play.Built in 1992. ON COURSE COMMENTS 10-04We found much of the difficulty at Connemara to be on and around the greens. At our visit the greens were pretty quick and some of the pins were placed in very difficult positions. Fairways are very open, but you will have numerous long approach shots to narrow greens. Bunkers were a little rough and full of water from the areas recent 4-5 inches of rain, but all in all the course was in good shape for the time of year and fairly priced at $24.95 to play all day with cart. We gave $22.00 with the lung card for 18.Looks like they are set up great to accommodate outings. |
