This course is open to the public and is part of the Kentucky State Park system. They accept MC, Visa, Discovery and Amex. Collared shirts. No driving range. You don't want to walk. No beer. Rental clubs available. No houses on the course.

Bent grass tees and fairways lead to large bent grass greens with moderate to severe undulation. Extreme elevation changes on many holes. 57 sand bunkers, streams and mature trees also add to difficulty. Very scenic.

Designed by Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest. Opened in 2004.

18 hole, 6,630 yard par 72 course. Slope 144 Rating 70.8

They have more tee positions that make the course shorter.

Drought related problems led to the closing of Eagle Ridge late in 2007. Course is set to re-open in May of 2008.

Very scenic course with numerous elevation changes. Layup holes and lots of tricky course navigating. No room for error off the tee and around greens on numerous holes. Very difficult course. Bring extra balls. Walking would take even longer. Previous course knowledge will help scoring. Our first trip around was a struggle, but another trip or two and we would do better. We left wondering if some of these holes just were not meant to be on the land used. Eagle Ridge looks like a GPS candidate to us.

If you want a great challenge and some great views its $36 with cart on weekdays, weekends $41. It would be foolish to walk.
