This course is open to the public. They accept Visa & MC. Proper dress required at all times. They have a nice driving range with targets and yardages. Walking is discouraged by one fee that includes cart. They have a nice full bar and restaurant. Beer cart girl available on our Friday visit. Development course. You will see houses, but so far they do not impede upon the golf course.

Heritage Hill has large Zoysia tees leading to expansive Zoysia fairways. Medium and large Bent grass greens with moderate and severe undulation, often guarded by sand bunkers. Ponds and a creek add to difficulty. Some trees, but rarely in play. Numerous elevation changes also provide difficulty and aesthetics.

ON COURSE COMMENTS 9-7-07

It's hard to beat the zoysia...great tees and fairways. Most greens were very nice, but some greens, notably on the backside are not as mature as others and therefore there is some inconsistence in putting and holding approach shots. Bunkers were nice. Overall conditions were very good for a course that just opened, but as always will be the case with a new course, some grow in time will benefit the greens and the rough.

*The green at 11 had a cut worm infestation, and is rough right now (9-07).

Very nice overall design with some good wow factor tee shots. Five tough par threes, with all but one over 200 yards from the tips. Make pars on these and birdies on the five par fives.

Upscale public golf course is the idea, and early indications are that they will accomplish the task. A much needed and welcome addition to the Louisville area golf scene.

I gave $49 to ride on a Friday. Moe got an overthehill rate of $35.
