This course is open to the public and is part of the Lexington Division of Parks and Recreation. They take MC and Visa and Amex. Shirts with collars and sleeves. They have a driving range. Walking is permitted at anytime. No Beer and no caddies.Lakeside has Rye tees and fairly open fairways leading to large Bent grass greens with moderate undulation. Water is in play on three holes and 28 bunkers add to difficulty. Opened in 1970.Lakeside has hosted the Kentucky State Amateur twice, the State Open and a US Open Qualifier.Over 7,061 yard 18 hole par 72 from the tips.Numerous other tees accommodate.Slope 132 Rating 73.2PRICES SUBJECT TO CHANGE |

ON COURSE COMMENTS 06We haven't played this one yet. They claim to have the longest par 5 in the state at 677 yards. That is long! Move up a tee and it's a mere 651 yards. We came up with Dale Hollow at 629 and I think Sleepy Hollow (nine holer) out in Oldham County has one around 650, so we're believers!Regular fees are $14 to walk, add $11 for a cart. |
