This is a military course. What does that mean to us civilians? In this case it means open to the public. Collared shirts please. They take my Mastercard and Visa and AE without hesitation. Walking is permitted. They have driving range. No caddies, but they have beer!
Lindsey has Bermuda tees and fairways leading to raised, medium sized, bent grass greens with subtle break and numerous fall away edges. Mature trees and sand are in play. From the course you can see the vault that supposedly holds our nations gold.
Course originally open in 1951. Designed by Buck Blankenship and Morgan Boggs. In 2004 the course reopened after a makeover.

Devotion to proper maintenance continues. Greens were recently aerated, but nearly healed.
New clubhouse. Bar and outside area are great additions. The new trees will make this course very tight when they are mid to fully grown. Numerous blind shots. The gold looks well protected.
Course conditions are better than most in this price range.
