This course is open to the public. They take Visa, MC, and AE. Collared shirts please. They have an expansive driving range and a nice practice facility. No caddies. Walking is allowed. Old Silo has a restaurant and bar called Graham's Grill.
The course is all bent grass, with mature trees and water in play. An amazing amount of sand bunkers (98) also come into play. Expansive bent fairways lead to undulating medium and large greens. Old Silo has numerous scenic elevation changes that also add to difficulty.
Built in 2000. Designed by Graham Marsh. We don't know why Mr. Marsh chose Kentucky for his first new design in the states, but we are sure glad he did! The course has recently received high marks from noted publications. We like it too.

ON COURSE COMMENTS 6-09
It's a great Kentucky course, but it's a tough course. Nice design. Great scenery to go with challenging golf. Huge sand bunkers and lots of them. Five hour rounds possible.
Pick your tee wisely if you don't carry a single digit handicap...Old Silo is enjoyable for all, but this is no place to kid yourself about your capabilities.
*Bunkers were mostly unplayable do to recent copious rainfall. Course was wet, but held up well considering rainfall totals. Overall conditions were good.
