Nice, mature country club course. Conditions are usually good. Not too long, but you can find trouble if you don't hit 'em straight. $40 to ride on a weekday for non-members.

One of the tightest driving holes in the state at number three. (see photos).

NOTES:

This course is semi-private with limited "open to public" times. You need to call, but basically it's Wednesday through Friday before noon. They take Visa , Mastercard and Amex. No cutoffs, and you need a collared shirt. Walking is permitted, but discouraged by the fact that it cost the same to ride. They have a driving range. No caddies, but they have beer! You will see a few houses.

Shelbyville Country Club has Rye/Zoysia tees, Bermuda fairways and Bent grass greens. Water and sand come into play. Large mature trees line most fairways.

Shelbyville CC was built in 1934. Designed by Buck Blankenship. In 1974 they built a couple of new holes and retooled the course a bit.
