CHAMPIONS THOUGHTS
I think it was incredible how well everyone got along in tight quarters. Being with 12 guys every hour for three days straight is quite an accomplishment. We made it seem easy. Great group. Great time.
It occurred to me on the drive home that the non-drinking element or "team rehab" as Scott would say, didn't get a crack at the Champs money. It has been tradition that the Champ buy dinner after the final round. Due to logistics this presented a problem. After a discussion with Doug on the subject, I decided to buy drinks Saturday night. A bit of an over site on my part. I apologize to the non-drinking element. I would like to propose that next time everyone go straight to the Salt Fork Restaurant (or any other dive that's close) for the Champions Presentation and lunch.
I will be sure to engrave my trophy per tradition. I'm having my new jacket dry cleaned and fitted. I can't wait to defend.
