LAFAYETTE
Moe works his natural left to right ball flight nicely on the 435 yard, dogleg right par four.

It' a somewhat intimidating tee shot and then you have a long down hill approach to the green.

Number one handicap hole to start the day!

The approach to number one.
Looking back the up hill, 393 yard third hole at Lafayette.

Plays long.

The green is not large and is protected by a bunker front right.

Here's a pano of numbers 4, 5 and 6.

The 430 yard, par four fourth hole is on the right. The 199 yard par three fifth follows the tree line on the other side of the pond and that's the left half of the split fairway on six..

Here is the up hill, 520 yard par five, sixth hole.

Features a split fairway, so you have choices if you don't like the looks of the O.B. right.

It's tough to get on the long narrow green with a false front in two.

The approach to the 518 yard par five, ninth hole.

The toughest part of this difficult hole is actually the drive.

You have to hit a big one with plenty of altitude to get to a good lie at the top of a steep up hill grade.

Here's a look at the redesigned 10th hole. 558 yard long, dogleg left.

The pond has been expanded to protect a much larger area in front of the green.

Awesome par five!

Not only was this a great piece of land, but they did a great job with design at Lafayette.

Not

Looking back the 429 yard, dogleg right,13th hole.

Another long up hill approach shot.

You can cut a little off the corner on the drive, but you need to know where to aim to make sure you don't get caught up in the lush, Lafayette rough on the hill side right of the fairway. (Right from the tee...left in this photo)

OK...so you are approaching the green at the 510 yard 16th. It's important to realize that the tier separating the back half of the green from the front half is where the locals sled ride in the winter. All kidding aside, by my eye this is about a six foot elevation change.

Hit a little extra if the pin is on the back half.

You can't see any of this from the fairway.

How's is that for a tier!
