PINE VALLEY GOLF RESORT
From about 215 out on the 563 yard, par five eighth hole.

The green is narrow and deep with a slippery slope right and trees left.

April started out cool this year so the bermuda fairways were still dormant at our visit.

The ninth is a 160 yard, downhill par three.

Everything in the front middle runs back toward the tee making front pin placements risky to get at. You could end up hitting the green and then back down the hill in front. In fact I did it!

Perhaps more significant is the large bar and restaurant to the right of the green. We did not eat, but the bar is fun!

The 11th is the nicest hole on the course. It's a 622 yard, double dogleg par five. Tough hole with a pretty green area.

If you negotiated the 500 yards of tree lined doglegs without incident, your third shot requires a steady mind to this deep, narrow green protected by a small pond left. You have a little bail out room right, but hey, if you got to here in two you've got game...go for that pin.

Here is the tee shot at the 415 yard par four 17th.

You can carry the creek if you hit it 200 yards.

Nice power fade hole!

Looks like fun!
